Bea Caenepeel (born 1963) has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources and Human Capital Management.
For 12 years she worked for Meeremans & Bloemen (which later became De Witte & Morel / Hudson), where she was a driving force behind the expansion of the agency and was jointly responsible for the Meeremans & Bloemen salary surveys. As a senior consultant, she recruited top talent for leading clients such as Unilin Quick-Step.
She then spent 5 years at Unilin Group (> EUR 900 million turnover, 2600 employees, international environment) as Corporate HR Director and a member of the management committee. In addition to developing the professional HR organisation, she was also responsible for attracting top talent for the various international sites at management and Board level.
She has been a co-founder and driving force behind Altior since 2006.
Christoph Leenknecht (born 1968) started out in Sales & Marketing after completing his studies in applied economics, but then went on to build a successful career of more than 15 years in Human Resources Management.
As Business Unit Manager of the Education and Training division within the West Flanders Quality Assurance Centre (now known as Amelior), he was responsible for 6 years for the creation and marketing of trend-setting training programmes in the specialist fields of quality, environmental management, safety and Human Resources Management.
He then spent 6 years as a Senior Consultant at Schelstraete & Desmedt Executive Search, where he was responsible for finding the right qualified people for critical vacancies and/or discreet executive search assignments for family firms and multinationals alike.
He has been a Partner with Altior since 2007.
Jan Verstraeten (born 1969) combines a Master’s diploma in applied economic sciences with over 15 years’ experience in Executive Search and Human Resources Consultancy.
He started out at Schelstraete & Desmedt Executive Search, where he rose to Client Manager. In that post, he supported his clients in attracting and assessing key employees by means of Executive Search and management assessment assignments.
After 13 years he joined MenT Associates, where he ran the Ghent office for 3 years as Branch Manager. He specialised further in Executive Search, assessment and development centres and management audits, and supported clients during the introduction of competence management.
He often acted as a guest lecturer and trainer in topics such as competence management, interview and selection techniques and general HR management themes. He sat on various jury panels for top positions in the public sector.
In 2011 he joined Altior as Associate Partner.
In October 2012 he became Partner.
