  • Bea Caenepeel - Partner

    Bea has over 25 years  experience in Human Resources and Human Capital Management.

    For 12 years she worked for Meeremans & Bloemen (which later became De Witte & Morel / Hudson), where she was a driving force behind the expansion of the agency and where she was jointly responsible for the Meeremans & Bloemen salary surveys. As a senior consultant, she recruited top talent for leading clients such as Unilin Quick-Step.
    She then spent 6 years at Unilin Mohawk Group as Corporate HR Director and as a member of the management committee. In addition to developing the professional HR organization, she was also responsible for attracting top talent for the various international sites at management and Board level.
    In 2006, she co-founded Altior, and has been Managing Partner since then.

    With Altior, Bea  specializes in attracting leadership for family owned companies. She has experience with almost every industry and throughout her career with almost every function.  Bea’s combination of expertise, dedication and network makes her a respected sounding board for numerous CEO’s and company owners seeking guidance on leadership.

    Christoph Leenknecht - Partner

    Christoph holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economic Sciences (UFSIA) and has completed a postgraduate specialisation in Board & Director Effectiveness at the Guberna Institute for Directors. He has been working for more than 20 years in strategic Human Resources consultancy. He started his career at Amelior, afterwards joined Schelstraete & Desmedt as a Senior Executive Search Consultant, and has been a Partner at Altior since 2007.

    With his HR and entrepreneurial background, he feels very much at home in a wide range of industries, including industry and automotive, logistics, life sciences, food and fast-moving consumer goods as well in areas such as retail, e-commerce and professional services. In addition to serving as a job matchmaker on C-level, Christoph also acts as a trusted, reliable and honest advisor to his many long-standing clients, putting his specialist knowledge and vast network to good use.

    Jan Verstraeten - Partner

    Jan combines a Master’s Degree in Applied Economic Sciences (UFSIA Antwerp University)  with over 20 years  experience in Executive Search and Human Resources Consultancy.

    He started out at Schelstraete & Desmedt Executive Search, where he became Client Manager. In that function, he supported his clients in attracting and assessing key employees by means of Executive Search and management assessment assignments.

    After 13 years he joined MenT Associates, where he managed the Ghent office for 3 years as Branch Manager. He specialised further in Executive Search and management audits, and supported clients with the introduction of competence management.

    He has often acted as a guest lecturer and trainer in topics such as competence management, interview and selection techniques and general HR management themes. He has sat on various jury panels for top positions in the public sector. In 2011 he joined Altior Executive Search  where he has been a Partner since 2012. Jan’s main sector expertise is in industry, FMCG and the non-profit sector. He  has completed numerous assignments on C-level as well as searches for specialist roles.

    Karolien Van Holder - Associate Partner

    Karolien combines  a Master's degree in Communication Sciences at the KUL and an Executive Master in Management at Solvay Management School with more than 10 years’  experience in executive search. She started her career at Ebbinge & Company where she filled positions in the top segment of the labour market. After eight years, she moved to Korn Ferry/ Futurestep where her main focus was on the Benelux consumer and retail market.

    Since 2016, Karolien has been Associate Partner at Altior Executive Search where she manages  the Brussels office.

    Karolien has worked for strategy consultants, private equity firms and the professional services industry in general. She has also recruited executives for the consumer and industry sector.  She goes the extra mile for her clients and candidates and is commited to serving them at the highest level.

    Liesbeth Benoit - Associate Partner

    Liesbeth obtained a Master’s Degree  in Applied Economics at the University of Ghent. Passionate about the combination of people and business, she started  her career in recruitment in 2004.  After a short experience in direct search, she joined Robert Half as a Consultant for both interim and permanent recruitment.

    In 2008, she was asked by the board of directors of the family company owned by her parents to reorganize the company. Liesbeth has been part of the board of directors since then.

    In  2015 she returned to her roots in recruitment and started as Business Development Manager for BDO Interim Management in West & East-Flanders. Her recruitment skills as well as her strong commercial drive contributed to the growth of this profitable business line.
    In  2016 Liesbeth joined the Altior team as Associate Partner.
